Espoon Kahvipaahtimo was born out of a genuine love and passion for coffee. Our roastery founder Andre places quality at the heart of every step of the production process. All our coffee is roasted and packaged by hand in Suomenoja, Espoo.

We are constantly looking for new small farmers around the world to ensure the ethical origin and high quality of our coffees. Andre's over a decade of experience in roasting coffee is reflected in each roast profile and this expertise has also been taken into account in industry competitions. Espoon Kahvipaahtimo won the Roasters' Challenge in 2022 and 2023.

Each batch of coffee goes through a careful tasting process before being sold. This ensures that every cup offers a balanced and enjoyable taste experience. In our roasting, we emphasize quality and recipe versatility to meet the preferences of different coffee drinkers.

In recognition of our long-term work on quality and innovation, Espoon Kahvipaahtimo was awarded both the Decaffeinated Coffee of the Year and Espresso Coffee of the Year awards at the 2024 Helsinki Coffee Festival. In addition, in 2025, we placed second in the Filter Coffee of the Year competition.
